Never Judge a Tool by His Shoes

Never Judge a Tool by His Shoes

Yes, it is true that many men these days are often epitomized by the shoes on their feet.  A man’s shoes truly convey a great deal about his character and the way he presents himself.  When purchasing a pair of shoes, choose wisely – choose a pair that complements your personality as well as your wardrobe.  Never buy a pair that is going to inaccurately represent you, your intentions or your taste in style.  There have been too many instances where I’ve seen men wearing pointed, black Italian leather shoes who weren’t (or at least didn’t look) Italian in the slightest.  If you are going to be bold and wear something ultra-trendy like pointed shoes, you had better be of Italian lineage or the rest of your wardrobe had better reek of last night’s spaghetti and meatball dinner.

If the shoes don’t fit the character then you’ve done it –you’ve become a tool.  It’s easy to go to the shoe store and pick the pair that looked great on Roberto Costello, but spend the extra moment to find a shoe that you connect with.  If you’re a salesman, find the shiniest shoe on the rack.  If you’re a waiter, get the water-proof docs.   Only you can decide the shoe that fits you and your personality.
