Are you an afficianado of shaggy hair? If so, there’s a good chance that you’ve heard of the mop or possibly even sported the shaggy hair style at one time yourself. Little do we think to remember that many of us were subject the beauty in donning shaggy hair when we were children. At a ripe yound age, you probably wore your greasy shag not because your parents were too lazy to make a trip to the barber, but because it embodied the free-spiritedness that is childhood. Though many of us earned a free ticket on the wedgie train for our, at times, outlandsh hair dos, it’s safe to say that through years of ridicule, we are surely all glad to have brandished such a fine hair cut.
The days have long-passed since those with shaggy hair were ridiculed for their hygeine. Something that onced cued thoughts of laziness and mal-nourishment has transformed into one of the raddest hair styles of the twentieth first century. Shaggy hair has finally come to life.
Luckily, those of us who have jobs and or wives that allow for our long locks of glory we now have the freedom to let ourhair grow for months on end without even risking social isolation. I say cheers to those who wear their shaggy hair with pride. To those who don’t yet have the courage, know that shaggy hair is finally coming of age and I finally receiving the respect it deserves.
