I have a question - my boyfriend got a really cheesy sweater from his mom for Christmas this year.  He's not the most fashionable guy, but he will be starting a new job soon and needs to start dressing nicer.  What should we look for that will make him look "dapper" when we exchange the ugly sweater?  Thanks in advance!

Oh Man!!!  I got a nasty shirt from my girlfriend for Christmas!  I feel your pain!  Atleast you get to exchange, I'm stuck with my ugly ass shirt!

Haha - I think we've all had the misfortune of owning at least one ugly sweater.  Cari - go and find your man a cardigan. They're versatile and they are sharp.  Try something from Luke Roper (luke1977.com) - most of their cardigans boast classic winter-tones - good for both jeans or trousers.
Cheers!

In all honesty, I think that the right cheesy sweater can be a stylish sweater- so many other factors need to happen, but with the crazy world of fashion, you never know what looks are "in."  :-)

Not all men like sweaters. In fact, some men simply can't stand wool. Make sure he wants a sweater before making a large purchase.
Stick to versatile colors if you are buying the men's sweater as a gift. Black and grey, for example, look fabulous for the man who doesn't like a lot of color. If he ends up wanting to be flashier, he can add a bright collared shirt underneath.
